point: the same side of the moon is not
just a payoff, but a hope. It’s the idea that
together we can move towards the same
side of the moon, the bright one

Create the visual identity for the event, highlighting the event topic while maintaining the TEDx brand identity

Context
The first TEDxVerona in the "Women" format, with the goal of embracing and empowering women and gender equality
With over 13 years of history and events, TEDxVerona wanted to organize and host it's first "Women" format, aiming to fight and highlighting the gender equality problems between men and women throught inspiring and meaningful talks in the city of Verona, Italy
Approach and process
HMW create a Brand and Visual Identity for the event and highlight the event topic while maintaining the TEDx Brand Identity?
The main challenge was to define a concept and visual identity for the event that differs from the past events of TEDxVerona and other TEDxWomen format around the world, while maintaining the global brand guidelines of TEDx
For achieving that, we've done a brainstorming for establish a design concept with some keywords, and after that some moodboards for define the visual language
The outcome
An elegant Brand and Visual Identity with a slogan representing the main concept: The same side of the moon
The result is a Brand Identity connected to the concept of the sides of the moon: the dark one and the bright one, representing the idea that usually womens are in the dark side, while we should all be in the bright side, without discrimination
The Visual Identity represents the X of TEDx as the center of the changing that spreads its light to the bubbles, which represent people who absorbs the ideas spreaded from the event and change
